The company KBK Antriebstechnik GmbH was founded in 2003 by Mr. Robert Karpstein and Bernd Brenner in rented premises at Furtwänglerweg 30 in Trennfurt. Both partners brought many years of profound knowledge and experience into the start-up.

After 8 years of continuous growth, it was time to expand in early 2011. Thus, a move to Unterlandstraße 46 in Röllfeld and an expansion of the machine park were on the agenda.

KBK also saw a change of generations. In 2013, Mr. Robert Karpstein retired and handed over the management of the company to his son, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Sven Karpstein. The senior boss will remain with the company with his expertise and in an advisory capacity.

Delivery Times

Delivery times of 1 to 2 weeks are the standard and nothing special.

However, difficulties may arise during a machine standstill and possible production downtime. In this case we will help you! Due to our modular system we are able to produce almost any elastomer and metal bellows couplings from our standard program with customized bores and ship them by courier immediately. All common locking devices can be dispatched ex stock.

There is a permanent pressure to cut costs without losing a quality standard.

Due to the use of KBK-products you can save 30% on the average, compared to comparable products. Furthermore, you can be assured that all KBK-products are subject to a 100% quality control. Our dedicated employees and the good working atmosphere naturally also account for a large part of our success. As a result, KBK has been able to continue its growth and now employs around 50 people from the region.

That is why we continue to support local projects such as vacation games and kindergartens. With further planned expansions, KBK would like to increase its market share and further establish itself in the world market.
